Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Non-Invasive Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days M-F Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: BSN not required Description: This specialized unit cares for patients undergoing heart function tests and diagnostic procedures. We perform Electrocardiograms, Echocardiograms, Stress tests, heart monitors, and advanced imaging such as Cardiac CTs. Both inpatient and outpatient testing and procedures are conducted. Collaboration with cardiologists is essential as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care. The cancellation policy allows for 3 shifts per 13-week contract or 2 shifts per 12-week contract. Charting is performed using the EPIC system. On-call duties occur every third weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 12 PM. The care setting is acute with a Trauma Level of 2.
